Boots Summer Deals 2017

Hey Everyone!

Summer’s drawing to a quick close and for once, I think I really enjoyed the hot weather. I’m really not a hot weather kind of person (cue gasps and people declaring that they can’t be my friend anymore… seriously, that’s actually happened to me), I love Autumn and Winter and I think one reason I don’t really enjoy summer (apart from me being allergic to heat, that’s a thing right?) is me not knowing how to dress for the heat. This year I really made a effort to plan a summer wardrobe that I enjoyed wearing (with lots of help from Everything5Pounds haha) and I’m actually hoping for at least 1 more week of hot weather before it’s time to put the summer stuff away and take out all the cold weather clothes. It’s honestly never happened to me before!

Whoops, went on a bit of a ramble there. That whole thing was a prelude to me trying to say that the best part of summer is upon us and that is the – SUMMER SALES. I’m a huge fan of saving money (which is what this blog is all about), about not paying full price and also about only buying what you need. Which is where the Boots Summer Clearance sale comes in because, if you’re anything like me (and we’re probably alike, otherwise we wouldn’t be so into beauty/skincare that we read/write blogs about it!) Boots is probably the place where you’re tempted to pop in for on thing and emerge with half the store.

If that’s not enough, on top of the sale, there’s also a points event going on!

Another quick-fire post on Everything 5 Pounds, my last post was about their £1.99 sale (which I nabbed loads of items at, I think I returned about half of them but kept half as well, I’ll do a review post one day).

For a limited time only (just a DAY apparently but they do tend to extend these offers, they’re having an amazing half price dress sale. So half off of £5 means that these selected dresses are £2.50.

Today we’ll be talking about one of my absolute, all-time favourite online clothing sites – Everything 5 Pounds.

In case you haven’t heard of them already, the name really says it all – everything on the site will only set you back a fiver. I’ve really got into shopping from them recently and I’ve a whole host of posts planned including an in-depth review, reviews of all the hauls I’ve done recently (including the good and the bad) plus tips on how to get the most out of shopping with them. However, today’s post is going to be a quick one because I’ve spotted something that I really wanted to blog about asap while the deal’s still on.

For a limited time only, Everything5Pounds is a misnomer, because not everything is £5, some things are £1.99!

Last BOOTS Points Event of the Year TODAY

If you’ve been around this blog since the beginning you know I have a thing for Boots hauls but I only reserve my shopping for when there’s a great points event on. There’s a ton of old posts on this blog about Boots Points Events and the best (ie most parsimonious) way to shop them, but I think my all-time favourite post is this one where I really break it down at the bottom how to decide if the event is really worth your money or not!

So the low down on today’s event is that in selected stores (find out which stores here) there’s a special event where every £50 you spend nabs you £10 of points, after 3pm there’ll also be fun in-store activities and drinks so if you’ve the time, make a day of it! If you can’t spare the time, then they’re running the event online as well but online you’ll need to spend £60 to get the £10 of points.

Amazing Christmas Beauty Box Deal

Christmas is inching ever closer, it’s finally December and those of you with Advent Calendars must be rejoicing as you finally get to start opening those exciting little drawers.

I spotted an amazing beauty box deal on IWantOneofThose, a site full of random, quirky and fun gifting ideas. To be honest I didn’t realise they did much beauty things but this is the second time I’ve spotted a beauty box deal on their site and they tend to team up with existing beauty box companies offer the old boxes on a deal, usually 3 for 2, which is a great bargain! The ones on offer this time is the Look Fantastic beauty boxes, the Christmas 2015 series which, if you weren’t aware, runs October, November and finally December.
