Hello My Internet Princesses!
If you’re wondering what GGUGGG stands for, well it’s the Gift Guide for the Un-Gifted in Gift Giving 😉 I decided to give it a terribly unwieldy acronym (as you do…).
Today, I’ve listed my top picks for amazing budget gifts for girl friends, a gift doesn’t have to be amazingly expensive to be awesome, it’s all about the thought and about giving someone something that you believe is high quality and that you would be totally happy using yourself!
In this post you’ll see my picks for the Skincare Girl, the Eye Makeup Girl and the Home Spa Girl.
The Skincare Girl
Right, we all have this friend, the girl who loves her skincare products and is always trying some new serum or eye cream. You’d think getting her an awesome gift would cost the moon, wouldn’t you? Well, think again!
- x1 5ml Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream for Dry Sensitive Skin.
- x1 5ml Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream for Hypersensitive & Redness Prone Skin.
- x1 5ml Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream for Combination and Oily Sensitive Skin.
- x1 5ml Macadamia & Rose BioRejuvenate Cream for Age-Prone Skin.
- x1 5ml Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser.
- x1 4ml Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator.
- FREE Muslin Cloth (RRP £3)
And as if that price wasn’t crazy enough, you can order it online from Pai and it’ll only cost you nothing. Yes, free delivery!!! For 6 samples!
Pai is an awesome skincare brand, anyone would love this, I in fact would totally get it for myself and love it, the muslin cloth itself seems like a lovely luxury and the Pai box that it comes in is perfect for gifting or popping into a great Christmas gift bag (if you’re not into wrapping).
If you want to take your present a step further and be more generous, perhaps offer to buy a full size of whatever your girl friend most loves in this trial set =) That would be an extremely considerate touch I think!!
Even if she’s already tried Pai out, this gift is probably the most useful travel-sized versions of Pai products she’ll probably ever find.

The Eye Makeup Girl
Ah yes, that girl friend who’s adept at shading and does amazing Picasso-level pairings with different shades of eyeshadow… what better gift than a great eye palette! But, aren’t good eye palettes expensive, I hear you lament…
Not necessarily so!
MUA’s Undressed palette is the most amazing dupe out there for Urban Decay’s Naked palette (or so I hear from many reliable sources), so that, to me, is the perfect gift that won’t bust the bank!
And if she’s already got a great neutral palette, no fear, because MUA has a great range of palettes! Glitterball is perfect for the fun-loving girl who loves a splash of colour, or how about the latest matte palette or the smokin’ palette (which comes with an eye pencil).
I even spotted one called ‘Starry Nights’ in Bristol, can’t find it anywhere online but it was a gorgeous palette that was like a grey toned version of the Undressed palette (which is full of lovely neutral, earthy tones). An eye-shadow lovers dream!
These are on for 3 for 2 at the moment, each is usually £4 (the Smokin’ is £6) so you could potentially get 3 palettes for £8!! You could treat a girl friend to two palettes or perhaps keep a couple for yourself while you’re at it 😉 These you can get at select Superdrug stores or online at the MUA store (I recommend Superdrug if possible for the 3 for 2!).
The Home-Spa Girl
Our last category of the day! One you’d expect to be the most expensive but surprisingly….
At the Heathcote and Ivory website, these gorgeously packaged and bottled Vintage Collection Luxury Bubble baths are down to a mere £3 from £7!! It’s a 250ml bottle, gosh, I’m really tempted to get me some of this…
There’s also a rose scented one but Mimosa and Pomegranate just sounds a bit more unique, doesn’t it? With delivery it’ll be just about £5, maybe a little over (oop), but if you’re happy not to count delivery in then you have a spare £2 that you could possibly spend on a card or something to add to this gift.
Well, that’s all for my first instalment of Christmas gifts for girl friends, I’ve spotted so many great buys for £10!! Can’t wait to carry on =)
What kind of girl are you?
